Biography
The Malleus is a hammer shaped bone, the outermost of three small ossicles
in the middle ear that produce sound.

Hailing from Collingwood ON, Malleus is comprised of four members. Darin (Bass
guitar). Shawn (Lead guitar). Drew (Rhythm guitar and vocals). Adam (Drums).
Malleus has been working together as a unit for almost 3 years now. Their music
consists of a wide range of material derived from an array of influences. In
writing songs that you could take home to mom like Hidden thoughts. To full
force progressive rock assaults like Slow Jog. Malleus has obtained a wide variety
of listeners.
The summer of 2006 holds big things for the band. Achieving their win in Barrie, ON, at the Foundation night club, Local and loud. They are now gearing up to start recording at Studio at the lake in June or July. Their first album will consist of 10 original tracks, one or two of which will be airing on Barrie radio station ROCK 95 (95.7 FM). They will also be doing some dates on the Infringement festival. Montreal is confirmed for June 16-18.
